Tanzania Malipo Maalum
Tanzania Malipo Maalum
Description
Dominant notes of caramel, red berries, and allspice offer a sweet and complex taste. The pleasant and berry-like acidity provides a bright and lively balance to the flavours, while the medium and smooth body gives the coffee a silky and satisfying mouthfeel. This coffee is perfect for those who enjoy a sweet and well-rounded coffee experience.
This incredible coffee is sourced from various smallholder farms in Tanzania's Mbeya, Mbozi, and Mbinga communities. The majority of the coffee growers within these groups are proud owners of their own coffee farms, most of which are less than 1 hectare in size. This coffee is grown with care and passion, making the most of the favourable rainfall conditions from November to March. The harvest season falls between July to October, and the beans are carefully processed at the farm, known as Home Processed (HP), to preserve their unique flavour and quality.
