Tanzania Utengule Estate

This great Tanzanian coffee has dominant notes of dried apricot and cocoa to create a balanced cup with both fruity brightness and subtle Cocoa depth. A bright, lively acidity enhances the fruit character. The medium, smooth body makes for an easy-drinking and well-rounded coffee.

Started by missionaries in the early 20th century, Utengule has evolved into one of Tanzania’s respected highland estates, producing exceptional coffee while maintaining sustainable farming practices. The Estate is a historic coffee estate set at the foot of the Mbeya mountain range in southern Tanzania. With a coffee tradition dating back to 1919, the estate benefits from volcanic soils, warm summers, cool winters, and seasonal rains — ideal conditions for high-quality Arabica cultivation.
